Phil Burgess - Managing Director

Phil brings extensive management skills after 32 years in senior management positions with General Insurance and Wealth Management companies. He was the Managing Director of CE Heath Workers Compensation, managing 550 staff and $1 billion in revenue across all States. He turned the business around and ultimately sold it to Insurance Australia Group in 2001. While working at IAG he was appointed Head of Sales for their Australian retail brands (NRMA, SGIO, SGIC) and was responsible for $2.6 billion in revenue for multiple insurance products through multiple distribution channels. He moved into the wealth management industry with MLC in 2005, where he was responsible for their 30 key Financial Planning dealer groups.

Phil is introducing sound practice management systems and functionality to streamline the back office for fast efficient processing of the financial planning strategies. Every aspect of the business is being reviewed and changed to improve our clients’ experience and the value proposition offered, based on sound building blocks common to many financial planning practices.
